She was the one who really introduced me to mural art while I was in college, and I am in awe of both her creativity and ability. She has that artist’s eye, always scoping out neat textures, patterns, techniques, etc. Her ability to then take what she has seen and translate it into amazing artwork is incredible.

While visiting S. Utah during the holidays I had planned to do a photo session for Lara & her family. Before I arrived, she found this location for the shoot- she saw all of the beautiful red berries, and mentioned it to me. I knew this would be the perfect spot (even before seeing it in person) as I trust her artistic judgement. So- a portrait of an artist family- (her DH is also an artist) and the coveted red berries (I wish I had my own berry backdrop in snowy N. Utah right now!) . . .

{don’t you just love baby bro’s smiling eyes?}

{Daddy’s girl.}

{a little vintage-texture-fun here}

{we braved the harsh sunlight for a shot on the bridge.
